A moment of emotions

 Marie Dominique is now very outspoken. She is expressing her happiness about the idea of having a place for FJHO. Having a new place is the best thing that could ever happen to us.

 I have no word to describe what I have become thru FJHO. I used to never talk but now I can express myself in public easily thanks to FJHO.

 Je suis devenue tellement sensible, tellement genereuse que maintenant mon coeur est grand comme l'univers. FJHO m'a appris a devenir une jeune femme forte et courageuse

 Wherever I go, I will always cherish the good moments spent among you guys.

 Yesss. Maintenant on ne va plus se reunir sous les arbres de KROS. On aura notre propre espace.

 Avoir notre propre espace a toujours ete un reve et lorsque nous avons appris que ce reve va devenir une realite grace a des gens qui veulent nous aider, nous avions ete aux ange. Tout le monde a pleure.

Mission

The Fondation des Jeunes Haitiennes Optimistes was founded in September 2009 by Jocelyne Firmin to help young  Haitian girls develop leadership skills, build self-esteem and reinforce their human dignity. The FJHO also provides counseling, financial support, and job opportunities for its members.
